This Royal Enfield ‘Desert Storm’ motorbike is a classic 1950’s design that looks fully war vintage, with detachable canvas military panniers, but was actually only made in 2019. It is registered until end of August 2022. It has a powerful single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, 500cc engine. With high-torque at low revs, it is an effortless commute plus has huge grunt for taking hills in its stride. In low-rain South Australia, almost every day is a great day to ride, and it can be parked anywhere. This bike is in excellent condition, with low kms, and has been fully serviced by official dealers since new (with all records). It comes with additional genuine factory pillion seat and foot pegs, plus crash bar and touring windscreen. It also comes with full waterproof, clip-down bike cover in desert camo colour. For easier steering with sidecar, the bike is fitted with a factory hydraulic steering damper. It has been dealer fitted with Highway Gearing, giving it a higher top speed for longer distance cruising. The sidecar is designed specifically for the Royal Enfield. It was supplied and fitted by South Australia’s premier Royal Enfield dealer. The cockpit features ample leg room and seating comfort for a tall adult. Or you could carry your dog and surfboard to the beach. There is a clip-on tonneau cover to keep out rain. Also supplied are classic riding goggles and retro themed helmets with quick-release straps. This is limited edition Desert Storm 500cc which is no longer made, making this bike even more valuable as a unique piece of classic bike history.
