BMW R69S purchased by Vic Police from Frank Pratt motorcycles 7/8/1962 for escort duty for 62-63 royal tour, after royal tour this bike was used by Frank Porter who was the chief riding instructor at Vic police. REG # CY344. Traded in on a Triumph at Frank Mussets on 6/6/1966 and immediately purchased by Ian Isbister who was chief mechanic at Vic Police, who kept it until 12/3/1999. It was sold to Ken Wright a BMW club member who sold it to me in 2005. Since then it has only traveled 2114 miles, bringing the total mileage to 54734. It is still in pristine condition, runs and rides excellent.
