‘Superbike Advocates’ to enter ASBK in 2025
The Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) will welcome a new team in 2025, with ‘Superbike Advocates Racing’ to join the grid. The team is spearheaded by Lecha ‘Lee’ Khouri, the founder and CEO of Sydney-based Supercar Advocates and the global Fenlan Group, in partnership with former World Supersport rider and Australian Formula Xtreme Supersport Champion, Mitchell Pirotta of On Two Wheels Motorcycles.
Superbike Advocates Racing will run Ducati Panigale V4 Rs, with three-time ASBK Champion, Glenn Allerton, as lead rider. Allerton will be the team’s sole rider initially, with plans to expand to two riders in 2026.
Allerton is currently riding a BMW M 1000 RR for GT Racing, but with that team exiting ASBK at the end of this season, the arrival of Superbike Advocates Racing has been timely for the veteran.
After six of seven rounds in this year’s ASBK Championship, Allerton sits in ninth place, with his best performance being third overall at Round 5 and a best race finish of fourth at the same round.
Superbike Advocates Racing will operate as an extension of Khouri’s Supercar Advocates franchise - already involved with an historic F1 team - and will be an independent entity, with its own operations manager and dedicated team of professionals.
Lee Khouri spoke of his excitement about this new chapter: "At Supercar Advocates, we strive to stay at the forefront of everything we do. Whether it's reviewing cars and motorcycles, building a world-class automotive collection or racing, we're committed to leading from the front lines."
Intending to make waves when they hit the track in the 2025 ASBK season, Superbike Advocates Racing are also eyeing opportunities to race in the FIM Superbike World Championship in the future.
The team says they have one clear ambition: to win.
