Triumph Daytona 675.
Its 675cc, water cooled three-cylinder 12-valve power unit is extremely compact and features Keihin closed-loop fuel injection and stacked six-speed close ratio gearbox. Peak power of 125PS is delivered at 12500rpm, with 72Nm torque at 11750rpm.
The standard exhaust features an efficient underseat end-can and also utilises a secondary valve to boost torque low down. The new engine meets fully the stringent Euro-3 emission regulations, and while the Daytona 675's engine is refined, the triples innate character remains with typical Triumph toughness engineered into every part.
The Daytona 675's aluminium frame is fabricated with open-back cast spars, which wrap over the top of the motor, accentuating further the benefits of the narrow three-cylinder design. Rake is set at 23.5, trail at 86.8mm with a wheelbase of 1392mm. Dry weight is 165kg.
Suspension is provided by top quality fully adjustable Kayaba 41mm upside down forks and piggyback reservoir rear shock, also fully adjustable. The riding position of the Daytona 675 is extremely sports focused - the narrow seat is firmly padded for maximum feedback, the clip on handlebars are set low and rearset footpegs high.
