Suzuki Cruisers

With an eight model range, nine if you include the beginner Intruder 250LC as Suzuki does in its classifications. All models are extensions to the Boulevard family, ranging from the C50, through to the M109RT and C109RT.

Boulevard C50
The C50 was last upgraded in mid 2009, gaining a new candy blue colour option. The 50ci engined variant from Suzuki's classic 'C' line-up of cruisers features traditional styling combined with advanced sportsbike technology, and gives riders plenty of bang for their buck. Delivering trademark grunt and plenty of torque throughout its powerband, the Boulevard C50 is powered by a grunty, fuel-injected, V-Twin engine. A chromed and staggered dual exhaust pipe is tuned to enhance power delivery and produce a throaty, signature V-Twin rumble. With a low, spacious seating position and swept-back handlebars complemented by sleek lines, a teardrop tank, deep fenders, large tyres and chrome finishing, the Suzuki Boulevard C50 offers rider comfort and style.

Boulevard C50T
This is the latest in Suzuki's cruiser range, with this model arriving now. It comes with a V-twin and is distinguished with striking large white wall tyres with chrome spoke wheels and a classic white meter face, enhanced by the Boulevard C50T's glistening chrome and elegant two tone colour scheme. Equipped with plenty of power for any situation, the Boulevard C50T's 805cc, V-Twin engine provides strong low end and mid-range torque. The fuel injection system delivers excellent throttle response and maximum power throughout the entire rpm range, whilst a 3D-mapped digital ignition system further enhances low-end torque. The low, spacious seating position and swept back handlebars are complemented by sleek lines, a teardrop tank and stepped seat with studded trim. The Suzuki Boulevard C50T sells alongside the Boulevard C50, and is available in white/silver or black/grey colour schemes for a RRP of $11,290 +ORCs.

Boulevard C109R
This model in its current spec has been around since January 2009. It was a new model last year, and arrived in a new blue colour, complementing the pearl black colour scheme. It is powered by a performance 1,783cc, fuel injected, V-Twin engine and retails for less than $19,000.

Boulevard C109RT
Suzuki's new C109RT model arrived in August 2009, with a new stunning two-tone black/grey and red/white liveries. The Boulevard C109RT is a variant of the Boulevard C109R cruiser, an all new concept introduced to Australia in 2008, giving riders even more choice in the popular cruiser range. White wall tyres, two-tone liveries, a studded seat trim and passenger footboards complement the timeless, sweeping styling and chrome-plated finishes.

Part of Suzuki's classically styled 'C' family of Boulevard cruisers, the C109RT combines a 90 cubic-inch engine and advanced technology with sleek, classic cruiser lines. Suzuki's largest production engine, a 1783cc, DOHC, 54 degree V-twin powerplant includes massive 112mm forged aluminium pistons and delivers impressive torque through a broad powerband. With a unique, two-stage cam drive system and Suzuki's Dual Throttle Valve fuel injection system, the Boulevard C109RT offers smooth power delivery. Providing a comfortable ride and agile handling, the Boulevard C109RT has a high tensile, double cradle steel frame, telescopic front forks and a rear swingarm with a preload adjustable shock absorber. An advanced braking package, where the rear brake pedal applies the rear brake and partial front brake, a comfortable, upright seating position and pullback handlebars complete the impressive package.

Boulevard M50
With its 50 cubic-inch engine, the Boulevard M50 is the entry-level model in Suzuki's 'M' range of Boulevard cruisers, which have more aggressive, muscular designs than the classically styled 'C' family. Major revisions were made to the Boulevard M50's bodywork, resulting in new look styling. The long and low double cradle frame combines with a chromed steel tail section, while chrome-plated finishes were also added to the engine exterior to match the higher capacity Boulevard cruisers. A distinctive headlight cowl sets the tone for the Boulevard M50, with its flowing lines carrying all the way through to a wide, reshaped seat, sporty new rear fender and optional new tail section cover at the rear. Completing an impressive visual package, silver finishes were added to the 16-inch front wheel and 15-inch rear wheel of the 2010 Suzuki. An 805cc, V-twin, fuel-injected liquid-cooled engine powers the M50.

Boulevard M90
Suzuki's Boulevard M90 middleweight cruiser features a new cherry red livery. Since its launch late last year, the Boulevard M90 has become a popular member of Suzuki's Boulevard cruiser range, renowned for its unique combination of advanced sportsbike technology and head turning cruiser styling. Along with the Boulevard M109R and the M50, the Boulevard M90 is part of Suzuki's 'M' range of cruisers, featuring a more aggressive, muscular design than the classically styled 'C' family, which feature a traditional look. The Boulevard M90 is the perfect middleweight muscle cruiser, filling the gap between the all-new, 800cc Boulevard M50 and range topping, 1,800cc Boulevard M109R. With class leading power to weight and torque to weight ratios, the Boulevard M90 is powered by a 90-cubic-inch, 1500cc, long-stroke, four-valves per cylinder, V-twin engine. A host of race-bred features, including Suzuki's Dual Throttle Valve digital fuel injection, an advanced engine management system and Suzuki's Clutch Assist System make the Boulevard M90 a potent package.

Boulevard M109R
The 2010 model is through and through classic cruiser. With its stunning combination of smooth lines and big bore performance, the Boulevard M109R continues to be one of the most dominant Japanese cruisers since it was first launched in 2006. Deriving its name from its 109 cubic inch engine, the Boulevard M109R combines unique cruiser styling with leading edge technology, making it Suzuki's most powerful cruiser ever. Delivering potent power and torque with smooth acceleration, the 1,783cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, V-twin engine utilises Suzuki's advanced Dual Throttle Valve fuel-injection system among its race-proven engine technology. A bold, 2-into-1-into-2, stainless steel, chromed exhaust and the advanced Suzuki Exhaust Tuning system provide optimum performance and a distinctive V-twin engine note.

Developed using Suzuki's GSX-R sportsbike technology, the M109R's race-proven brake system includes radial mounted, opposed four piston front calipers with 310mm front brake rotors and a dual-piston rear caliper with 275mm rear disc. The widest tyre ever used on a Suzuki motorcycle, a 240mm rear Dunlop tyre helps deliver the incredible power of the Boulevard M109R and compliments its aggressive look. Perfect for cruising, the Boulevard M109R has a 19-litre fuel tank and a low and comfortable riding position, while the solo seat cover can be easily removed to accommodate a passenger when required.

A handlebar mounted instrument cluster includes digital tachometer and LED indicator lamps, complementing the tank mounted analogue speedometer and LCD odometer, dual tripmeters, fuel gauge and clock. The Boulevard M109R is also available in an upgraded model, the Boulevard M109RZ. Complimented by an exclusive colour scheme, the M109RZ also features striking black wheels, clear turn signal lenses and brake lamp lens with the Boulevard logo embossed into the seat cover.
