Suzuki Adventure Ride preview
Scheduled for Saturday, 6 July, the ride is free to enter and non-Suzuki riders are welcome, too.
The route, from the Gold Coast to Warwick, will see registered participants take in stunning roads through the Gold Coast Hinterlands, Tyalgum and the Border Ranges National Park.
There will be two start points: one at Springwood Suzuki in Underwood; and the second at Sunstate Motorcycles at Nerang. Along the way, Suzuki have organised two course options for registered entrants, with one carrying a mix of bitumen and dirt and designed to suit large adventure tourers, like the V-Strom 650 and V-Strom 1000. The second course option has more off-road elements and is designed to suit bikes like the DR650SE.
At the ride’s conclusion in Warwick, there’ll be the opportunity to test Suzuki’s latest V-Strom 1000, V-Strom 650 and DR650SE models.
After the ride, registered participants can join a group dinner at the Cherrabah Resort (Keoghs Rd., Elbow Valley) for $120 per person that gets you dinner, a welcome drink, overnight accommodation and breakfast the next day. Riders wishing to take up this option should book direct with Cherrabah Resort on 1800 023 788. Camping is also available at Cherrabah (BYO tent, bedding, food, etc.) for $15 per person.
To register for the ride, contact Suzuki Australia via email: [email protected] or call (03) 9931 5500.
