PREVIEW Ash's Speedway Museum to host auction March 22
These highly unqiue vehicles, 1975 LTC Chassis / Offenhauser Vintage Midget, 1968 Dave Strickland Edmunds Sesco Speedcar & a 1986 RC Cosworth Challenge Frame #2 Combo Car, are already attracting furious bidding.
The live & online auction is being hosted by Bathurst's famous 'Ash's Speedway Museum' and includes a range of vintage bikes, cars and memorabilia.
The joining of forces seems to be a great match for both businesses, with Ash, whom has the largest speedway collection in the Southern Hemisphere, kindly agreeing to open up his museum to host the auction and provide free entry to all, with food & refreshments available to purchase on the day.
A great opportunity to visit a world class motorsport museum and perhaps buy that bike or car you have always wanted!
One of the feature memorabilia lots being auctioned is this World Championship Medal from the 1938 Championship at Wembley presented to Australian Speedway legend Lionel Van Praag for 4th place
Lionel wrote his name indelibly into the Speedway history books by also winning the first Grand Prix World Championship in 1936. See images below or view full catalogue here
