Learn MotoGP photography from one of the best
Scheduled for Wednesday, October 12, the seminar is a unique opportunity for amateur photographers who have a solid understanding of the basics to develop their skills in the areas of motorsport photography by learning from one of the best.
The seminar will take place at San Remo and is an all-day event. Topics covered include photographic equipment needs, an open critique of current work, selling & marketing images, improving your technique, self-promotion, developing a style and more, all under the tutelage of the accomplished American imagemaker. Lunch will be provided, while Wheeler will demonstrate his other skillset by also cooking dinner for all attendees at the conclusion of the day.
A member of many professional photographer organisations, Wheeler's work has been featured in motorcycle magazines both here and abroad, and has also produced commissioned work for the likes of Yamaha USA, Bell Helmets, Kawasaki, LAT Photographic and many more.
Wheeler says the idea for a seminar has been put to him many times in the past, but the pre-Australian MotoGP event will be the first time that the idea has been brought to fruition, thanks in part to location host for the seminar, Paul Stafford.
With less than a week to go before the event, Wheeler informed JUST BIKES that there are still a few places available, but spots are limited, so if you want to take part in this unique opportunity, you better act fast!
