Italjet Dragster 200 ‘Malossi Edition’ arrives

Following its debut at last year’s EICMA show in Italy, the ‘Malossi Edition’ of Italjet’s Dragster 200 scooter has arrived at Australian Italjet dealerships.

The special version of this performance scooter celebrates Italjet’s long partnership with Italian tuning and performance parts specialists, Malossi, who supply many of the optional upgrade parts available for the Dragster 200.

The Malossi Edition is defined by a special livery that carries both Italjet and Malossi colours and graphics, giving the already striking Dragster 200 even more visual impact. This brings the range of available colours for the Dragster 200 to five.

Mechanical spec for the Malossi Edition is unchanged from the Dragster 200 that made its Australian debut in early 2022, including the 181cc single-cylinder engine that produces 12.9kW and 15.5Nm. With EFI, electronic ignition and liquid cooling, this high-performance four-stroke single can take the Dragster 200 to a top speed of 125km/h.

The CVT, trellis frame, distinctive hub-centre steering and monoshock suspension front and rear are all standard Dragster 200 spec, as is the 12-inch front and 13-inch rear wheel, disc brakes with ABS, LED lighting, a 9-litre fuel tank and low 112kg weight.

To complement the Malossi Edition, a range of Malossi parts (for race use only) are available from the Italjet Australia dealer network, including a 205cc big bore kit, related fuel/air control and engine mapping kits, pod filter set, racing exhaust, torque converter and transmission kit. An Akrapovic exhaust and silencer are also available for race use.

Street-legal accessories include premium Öhlins suspension, a Performance Technology brake upgrade kit, side stand, indoor dust cover, carbon fibre front and rear mudguards and other carbon fibre trim parts.

The Italjet Dragster 200 Malossi Edition started arriving here in August, priced at $10,490 ride away – a $500 premium over the other available liveries.
