INTRODUCING... An all-new American Motorcycle
Victory Motorcycles set out to break all the rules and while sticking with the quintessential 100 ci V-Twin and 6-speed transmission, were the first to merge custom style with high end, automotive engineering.
They were happy to do things differently, and were the first to embrace super fat rear tyres, split tail fuel tanks and ultra-modern design. While the Victory cruisers are aimed at existing V-twin enthusiasts, the Vision model is targeted at the long distance tourer, with can't-be-ignored styling, plus impressive levels of comfort and power, including a new 106ci engine.
Models
In 2003 the Victory Vegas was introduced. It was a cruiser that again embraced modern design with factory production performance. As with all Victory motorcycles, the Vegas design is custom inspired, and features unique paint, sculpted fuel tank, flush-mounted taillight and tip to tail spine. Far from being all show, the Vegas is a strong performer, with 85hp and 106 ft/lb of torque delivered from its 100ci V-Twin. For 2008 output has been increased to 106ci, providing even more power on long hauls.
New for 2008 is the Vegas Low, which has an inch lower frame, plus foot pegs are repositioned 2.25 inches back and the bars have also been pulled back by 2 inches. The design is subtle but delivers a premium on comfort and style.
If the Vegas Low isn't radical enough, then the Vegas Jackpot is sure to inspire. It bears all the signature styling of a true American custom - radical paint scheme, a custom headlight, a colour matched frame, a super fat rear tyre and excessive chrome.
Hammer.
The Hammer is Victory's muscle cruiser. Inspired by American muscle cars, it features a strong frame, fat 250mm rear tyres and aggressive lines. It has an inverted front fork and dual disk brakes. The Hammer S is a race inspired bike with blacked out engine, bars mirrors and gauges as well as black translucent powder coated billet wheels.
Kingpin
The Victory Kingpin and its long distance cousin the Kingpin Tour have a stretched out frame for long stints in the saddle. The smooth, flowing lines, low saddle and stretched out riding position add balance and stability, while large floorboards isolate vibration for increased comfort on long rides. The Victory Kingpin 8-Ball has bold, modern styling with blacked out bodywork, engine, wheels and bars, to present quite a distinctive bike. Similar to the blacked out Vegas 8-Ball, these two bikes have a primal appeal. The only non black components are the dual chrome exhaust, gauges and chrome headlight.
Vision Tour
Vision
For 2008 the Vision Street and Vision Tour are all about luxury touring. The chassis is long and low, allowing excellent stability and maneouvrability. The seats, floorboards, controls and modern contoured design are engineered for optimal riding comfort, while the new 106ci Freedom V-Twin with 6-speed transmission produces smooth, powerful and responsive performance through the entire powerband. Nice comfort features include dual zone heated seats and hand grips, and a console that is compatible with MP3 or iPod, as well as optional satellite navigation, CB radio and radio. More than 60 accessories are available for the Victory Vision. A range of Victory apparel is also available.
