Indian record setter at SoS launch. October 2007
With 1,000cc of power and 85kg weight, it delivered a World Speed Record to Jack Booth in 1916, before it passed into the hands of Harold Parson, who campaigned it with great success in many circuit, hillclimb and record-setting endurance events.
Expertly restored by Lindsay Urquhart - one of Australia's former sidecar greats who is still turning some VERY fast laps in historic competition - the Model H attracted a lot of interest over the course of the evening, so much so, we thought it worthy of a prime position on this issue's cover.
