Hyosung supports LAMS
Hyosung's three 250s and four scooters automatically fall under the umbrella, but the real bonus is that the company's stable of 650s are also available, restricted, in LAMS configuration, providing customers with a greater variety of choices appropriate to their level of experience and size. And when riders gain their full licence, the 650s can be de-restricted and ridden as full-power models.
"This is great news for Victorian consumers," said Mark Fattore, Marketing Manager of Hyosung Australia.
"Hyosung has been a big supporter of LAMS since its inception, and we look forward to opening up motorcycling to a new generation of buyers who may not have found what they wanted under the old scheme, where learners could not ride anything above 250cc.
"Mind you, Hyosung still has some great 250cc machinery for learners who still want to go down that path, including the slick GT250R."
Hyosung's full LAMS line-up is:
Scooters
SB50 Super Cab, SF50 Rush, SF50R Rally and SF100R Rally
Motorcycles
GT250, GV250 Aquila, GT250R, GT650R, GT650, GT650S Tourer and GV650 Aquila
