Husqvarna TE610. March 06
Designed to fill a gap in the 600cc four-stroke, single cylinder, off-road market, the TE610 is targeted at those less competition minded riders who use their bikes every day and are seeking more comfort and practicality, yet still crave the thrill of a race bike. The TE610 is without a doubt, the best example of how a racing off-roader can be transformed into a road-going machine.
"The TE610 is based on the same concept as the new SM610, and that is a recreational bike that is road-friendly for everyday use", said Australian distributor, Paul Feeney.
With an innovative blend of racing technology and comfort-oriented design, the TE610 is the perfect solution for a rider who wants to own an enduro/dual purpose bike that can also handle the long journey.
The road user will appreciate the 12 litre locking fuel tank, digital instrumentation including trip meter and service interval notification, redesigned seat to allow for passengers, and a rear rack with allowances for saddlebags.
Performance enhancements include new Sachs shock absorber featuring twin brake adjustment for compression and rebound, Marzocchi 45mm inverted forks with adjustable damping, Brembo brakes with front floating 260mm disc with new 4-piston calipers, higher compression piston and the fitting of a Keihin MX 41 Carburettor. Other design elements include single exhaust system with integrated catalytic converter and a new cooling system featuring an electric fan, thermostat and redesigned air box.
The new Husqvarna TE610 is priced at $11,990 plus on-road costs.
All ADR approved Husqvarna motor-cycles, including the new TE610, are accompanied by a 24-month unlimited kilometre warranty.
