Four new cruisers from Yamaha

Inspired by those rugged individualists who build their own, the long, low and bad to the bone V-Star range represents the raw essence of cruising.
All four models bristle with performance, fit and finish that the Star family is famous for, with classic chopper styling and a price tag that offers real value for money. Burly, air-cooled V-twin engines pump out big fat chunks of low-down torque.

Drop in a smooth-shifting 5-speed trans- mission and low-maintenance shaft drive, and then spoon it all into a long wheel- base for the essential cruiser experience.

The 1100cc and 650cc versions of Yamaha's famous V-Star are available in either Custom or Classic versions. Custom models are more compact and sport a larger front wheel, neat headlight design and slim front mudguard with bobbed rear fender, while the Classic model is fitted with a wider profile front wheel, deep valanced guards front and back & a more compact headlight.

Three of the new Stars are fitted with classic wire spoked wheels, the exception being the XVS1100A Classic which comes with tough cast alloy spoked wheels. But all four continue the cool retro image with a hard tail look rear suspension, drag-style handlebars and beefy forks. Plus you get the all the chrome and the immaculate fit and finish that Yamaha Star cruisers are known for.
