DECA trainees score scooters
The lucky winners were 18-year-old Luke How from Hobart, who won a Yamaha Vino XC125 scooter and Veronica Hayes from Glenorchy, who won a Yamaha Beewee YX100 scooter.
The winners were drawn from nearly 2500 participants in motorcycle training courses conducted by DECA Training in Victoria and Tasmania between October last year and March 2007. Last year, DECA Training was awarded a five-year contract by the Tasmanian Government to provide motorcycle training and testing in Tasmania. DECA Training is held in Hobart, Launceston, Penguin, Scottsdale, St Marys, Smithton & Rosebery.
DECA Training has also been conducting motorcycle training courses in Victoria for more than 20 years at their Victorian regional and Melbourne metro training areas. Introductory courses for absolute beginners; a Skills Upgrade course designed for those with a licence who need to refresh their skills; and an advanced course designed for motorcycle club members to hone braking and cornering skills are all available.
