Aussie KTM riders to contest Junior MX World Titles
The 125cc Class will see national MX Development (Under 19s) contender Joel Milesevic return for his second world title assault aboard a KTM 125 SX, joined in the category by world championship debutant Egan Mastin.
Riding the KTM 85 SX in the hotly contested 85cc Class will be two of Australia's most anticipated mini bike riders - Mitchell Evans and multiple national champion Hunter Lawrence. Lawrence finished a fine fifth in the 65cc ranks last year and steps up a class for 2012, while Evans will return after racing in both the 65cc and 85cc classes previously.
The 65cc Class this season will feature Riley Dukes and Caleb Grothues. The pair will both ride KTM's 65 SX, completing the Australian team line-up that will be managed by Victorian Mark Willingham.
"Australia has fielded great teams to the Junior Motocross World Championships over the past three years and this team is no exception," Willingham commented.
"We have selected six exceptional riders from four different Aussie states, with an exciting mix of experience and new opportunities, and I'm looking forward to working with them over the coming weeks.
"All the riders are pumped to represent their country and are definitely up for the challenge of an international event - I can't wait to see what each of them will bring to the world stage."
The 2012 Junior Motocross World Championship will take place at Sevlievo, Bulgaria on August 26.
