Applying Expertise from the Racetrack to the Road

Applying what they’ve learned from MotoGP, Ixon have created the safe, stylish and comfortable ‘Jackal’ leather jacket.

For road and track riding in summer (or any warm, dry conditions), the Jackal features perforated sections, plus porous fabric panels. The fabric panels also stretch four ways for ease of movement and a fixed mesh lining is standard.

The ventilation and stretch panels combine to make the Jackal extra comfortable for summer riding.

Sturdy Construction and Maximum Safety

Constructed from thick, yet supple cowhide leather, the Jackal features secure stitching for strength. Protection includes CE Certified Level 2 armour in the shoulders and elbows as standard. There's provision for a back protector and the Jackal is also compatible with Ixon’s ‘Ix Airbag UX03’ safety vest. (NOTE: back protector and airbag vest are available separately).

Overall, the Jackal leather jacket is CE Certified AAA – the highest safety rating available. That makes it one of the best jacket options available for safe summer riding.

Comfortable, Adjustable, Compatible

Other features on the Ixon Jackal leather jacket include a racing-cut collar with neoprene brace and fastening strap. There are two zippered outside pockets and two zippered inside pockets. One of the inner pockets is waterproof - the best option to store your phone or valuables. Adjustment tabs feature at the wrist and waist for the ideal fit, with removable thumb loops, too.

Reflective panels are on the biceps for safer night-riding. There's also a zip and loop to attach Ixon leather pants.

Choose a Colour to Suit your Style

The Ixon Jackal jacket is available in three colour options, each with Ixon identification on the front, back and arms.

The Jackal leather jacket white/red/black option features white leather panels on the chest and arms. Ixon text identification features boldly on the front. A white strip on the chest adds Ixon's ‘Ride Your Way – Jackal Gear’ slogan.

Red sections are on the rear of the forearms, with red accents on the upper arms and shoulders. Red also features on the collar tab logo and zipper pull tabs.

On the back, there are white and red contrast panels. The ‘Ride Your Way – Jackal Gear’ slogan is in a red vertical strip. Ixon identification on the tail is in white. The Ixon logo, in white on red, sits below the collar.

The Jackal leather jacket in black/white/red is a subtler option. White Ixon text and logos feature on the chest, forearm, upper arm, shoulders and collar tab. The forearm, shoulders and collar tab graphics all carry red accents, too.

Ixon's ‘Ride Your Way – Jackal Gear’ slogan features in a subtle red horizontal strip on the chest. Red zipper tabs provide some contrast and red accents also feature on the upper arms, shoulders and collar tab.

On the rear, there are small contrast panels in white. The ‘Ride Your Way – Jackal Gear’ slogan is in a red vertical strip on the back. There's Ixon text identification in white on the tail, with the Ixon logo in white below the collar. 

The Ixon Jackal in basic black is the subtlest of the three options available. All the logos and graphics are in dark grey - there are no contrast panels or accents in contrasting colours. All the zippers use black pull tabs. If a simple jacket, without contrasting colours and graphics is your preference, this is the best choice.

All three colours for the Ixon Jackal leather jacket are available in a range of sizes, from S to 3XL (Mens). All offer the same maximum level of protection, making this jacket a great option for summer riding.
