Born from Yamaha’s racing DNA, the new learner approved YZF-R15M takes race inspiration to the next level thanks to a punchy 155cc VVA engine equipped with traction control, A&S clutch, a quick shifter, smartphone connectivity and stunning new WGP and R1M inspired graphics.
The YZF-R15M is compatible with Yamaha’s Y-Connect app, which shows phone notifications, diagnostic info, parking location, fuel-consumption tracker and more.
Traction Control System The R15 comes with a dedicated electronic TCS system that reduces the chances of wheelspin - or slippage due to loss of traction.
Assist and Slipper Clutch An A&S (Assist and Slipper) clutch is adopted to reduce the weight of the clutch pull and provide low-stress shifting during deceleration. The A&S clutch helps to reduce fatigue for the rider. The clutch also prevents excessive engine braking, and so reduces its effects on chassis behaviour. This makes for smooth, enjoyable downshifts.
