1971 BSA 650cc Lightning. Been an earlier restoration in excellent condition. Have owned the motorcycle since 1996. The engine has been rebuilt with the roller bearing conversion. During the engine rebuild the engine was stroked to a 750cc, using an A10 crankshaft. The cylinder head valve train has been professionally lightened and larger vales installed. Lubrication system has got a new cast iron oil pump for oil pressure stability, non-wet sumping valve fitted, in frame paper oil filter and Norm Hyde Engine Oil Cooler. New Hagon rear shock absorbers, new front forks, improved front brake system fitted with longer brake lever arms. New AMAL carburetors and brass fuel taps Pazon electronic ignition system, high output charging system, new high tension leads and H4 headlight conversion. During the restoration new close ratio gears fitted to the gear box, new Kevlar clutch and clutch cable. Tires 75% condition. Workshop and parts manuals supplied. Spare parts included. This bike is a fun and rather quick motorcycle considering the age of the technology. Will be a lot of joy to an enthusiast.
