1968 ford cortina mkii sedan

For sale is my 1.6L 1968 Ford cortina. Mk2 Love every second of driving this car! Super rare 2 door cortina, my dad's mates in England are very jealous! I have owned this car for 11 years, I bought it the first time I drove past it! Purchased as a weekend car with the possibility of putting a bigger engine in but never got around to it and didn't want to loose its originality! Regrettably it's spent more time In the garage letting registrations run out through lack of use or under a car cover that I think it's time to part with it and someone else to full in love! Installed a kenwood radio 2 x Sony speakers amp and bass speaker Didn't make any holes to fit this in. 1600 crossflow engine runs excellent, starts first time sounds great. have done the necessary work on it since owning it. New starter motor Slave and master cylinder head gasket skimmed and replaced New radiator Breaks The negatives : Even though the car has been well looked after it has still managed to gather some rust mainly around the door trim and bonnet as shown in photos. the rubbers are aging around the windows and the paint is fading in spots, has some cosmetic issues. The interior could use an update as there is some damage and age to that too. It's not a show room car but is still clean. Could do with some tlc that I don't have the time for anymore.
