Seller's Description
The 1916 Harley Davidson was only the second model to benefit from electrical lighting; previous models relied upon oil lamps or none. In addition to lights, the 1916 model debuted a modern starting technique that would become universal to motorcycling, and aptly called a ‘kick-starter’. Most differences to the 1916 J model were cosmetic, there were few noteworthy mechanical advancements. Among the few mechanical changes was a curved intake manifold to feed the venerable F-head V-twin, and the magneto was relocated behind the engine, and was switched on and off with a key. This particular example is in excellent original condition presently on display in the owners American residence, export clearance, shipping and arrival can be performed by Raidermoto.com to any country or port.
