Triumph releases ‘Aragon Edition’ for Tiger 900
On year on from Triumph’s factory-supported rider, Ivan Cervantes, winning the Baja Aragon off-road race in Spain, special edition versions of the Tiger 900 adventure bike celebrating that victory have been released.

Available on both the Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally, the ‘Aragon’ editions are inspired by the Tiger 900 Rally Pro that Cervantes rode to a dominant win at Baja Aragon, with unique details and additional components as standard.

On the Tiger 900 Rally Aragon, the Matt Phantom Black, Matt Graphite and Crystal White paint is accented with Racing Yellow accents, ‘Triumph Tiger’ and ‘Aragon Edition’ detailing, plus a unique two-tone seat.
The Tiger GT Aragon is finished in Diablo Red, Matt Phantom Black and Crystal White, with a similar two-tone seat treatment, Triumph Tiger identification and Aragon Edition callouts as the Rally version.

Both Aragon editions come with engine protection bars as standard, while the Rally Aragon also adds fuel tank protection bars.
Drivetrain for both Tiger 900 Aragon editions is unchanged from the respective base models, consisting of an 888cc triple, producing 79kW and 87Nm. This is matched to a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive.

Reflecting its off-road specification, the Tiger 900 Rally has spoked wheels (21-inch front, 17-inch rear) and Showa suspension front and rear, while the road-biased Tiger 900 GT uses cast alloy rims (19-inch front, 17-inch rear) and Marzocchi suspension. Brembo brakes are common to both Tiger 900 grades. Wheels, suspension and braking have not been altered for the Aragon editions.

The Tiger 900 GT Aragon has a seat height of 820-840mm and weighs 198kg dry, while the Tiger 900 Rally Aragon has a slightly higher 860-880mm seat and tips the scales at 201kg dry. A 20-litre fuel tank is common to both.
