Tickets go on sale for Motors & Masterpieces
Following its announcement earlier this year, Motors & Masterpieces has opened ticket sales for the all-new car and motorcycle concours event. To be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds from Friday, 22 November to Sunday, 24 November, ticket options for Motors & Masterpieces cover single and 3-day entry, discounted children’s entry, VIP access, a Friday night cocktail party and ‘After 5’ discounted entry on Saturday.

Hundreds of modern, classic, vintage and veteran vehicles are expected to attend Motors & Masterpieces, which is skewed towards cars, but welcomes motorcycles from many eras. Curated by the people behind Motorclassica, this new event will celebrate not just excellence on two and four wheels, but the history of the automobile and motorcycle, looking at evolutionary stages of development, history by continent and changes in automotive style.

The concours will feature ten judged classes, along with the coveted Best of Show, People’s Choice and Spirit of Motors & Masterpieces awards, which are open to all concours entrants. There will also be a Preservation Award for original, unrestored vehicles, plus a Young Achiever Award for owners under 30.

Entrants can choose to just display their motorcycle, but these entries will be ineligible for the concours awards. More than 200 vehicles are expected for the concours, with the same amount or more in the display areas across the weekend.
To just display your bike, entry is free. Concours entry is $200/motorcycle and includes two entry tickets for the weekend. A $500/motorcycle VIP concours entry option (valued at $1,990) includes VIP weekend tickets for two and admission to the event cocktail party. This pricing also applies to concours car entries. Registration is essential for all entries and Ts & Cs apply.

Public entry ticketing options start at $59/person for adults for a single day, $29/person for children 12-16 and free entry for children under 12. A 3-day pass is $139/person for adults and $69/person for children. Family passes (2 x adults, 2 x children) are $149 for a single day and $329 for three days.
In addition to these general admission options, there’s VIP ticketing that offers additional benefits and starts at $295/person for a day and $750/person for three days.
Discounted ‘After 5’ entry on Saturday, 23 November, is $49/person and there’s a special cocktail evening on Friday, 22 November, at $245/person. These and the VIP options are likely to sell out in advance, so enthusiasts are advised to pre-purchase their ticket to ensure they don’t miss out.
