The SR-i500W uses the latest detection, communications and manufacturing technologies to be ultra-compact, extremely robust and effective. It remains the first two-way FM security system designed specifically for bikes. The system uses high frequency RF technology for communications, and is capable of sending and receiving data up to a distance of 800m. The technology enables it to function even in difficult areas such as high-rise flats, shopping centres and underground car parks. The transceiver (70x33x15mm) provides full control of the alarm and has an LCD for commands and alarm triggers with easy to understand icons and text. The transceiver does not require batteries and comes with a charger, each charge lasting several weeks of use.

The alarm module (90x60x20mm) is easily located on most bikes and is unaffected by mounting position or angle. This unit has been designed to deafen would-be thieves/wake up the neighbours with a 125dB multi-tone siren. Both the alarm module and transceiver are waterproof.

The alarm detects shock, motion, tilt and interference with the bike's electrical system. It also has a perimeter sensor that warns people away if they get too close. An ignition disable/anti hi-jack upgrade is available that allows you to remotely disable the ignition, even if the keys are in the bike and the alarm is off. You can buy the SR-i500SW as a model-specific kit, which includes a dedicated plug-in loom that connects directly to your bike's factory connectors. Alternatively, purchase the SR-i500SW only, which includes a generic loom (suitable for any bike) and full instructions.
