HBBB to be even bigger for 2013
All circuits at Broadford will be in action, but the road circuit is set to be a favourite, as the 2013 HBBB will feature a special tribute to Honda's iconic RC30 and RC45 race bikes. More than a dozen of these highly-prized V4 machines are expected to take to the track, including the two ex-Honda Australia Winfield Team RCs raced to Australian title successes by Troy Corser and Anthony Gobert.
A much bigger trials section will be another highlight at this year's HBBB, while the Enduro loop, speedway, dirt track and motocross circuit are not to be missed either.
Tickets for Saturday night's always-popular Gala Dinner, at the Mitchell Shire Function Centre in Broadford, are already selling fast. Along with great food and wines from the award-winning Tahbilk Winery, the evening also features interviews with the stars of the HBBB.
This year's event will also feature a special celebration of the Velocette marque, a display of Australasian Safari bikes, special appearance from Kevin Magee, plus lots more.
Magee will cut some laps in the famous Bob Brown Ducati that set the Victorian on his path to international competition. The HBBB will mark the Pantah-based race bike's first public appearance in two decades.
Proudly supported by Honda, the 2013 Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza will take place at the Victorian State Motorcycle Sports Complex, Broadford, this Easter (March 30 - 31).
