When you look over the range that FX Powersports stock, it's hard to go past the Sachs MadAss - it's just so. . . different!

Is it a scooter, commuter, custom, naked or a bit of all four? However you label it, the MadAss appeals on a number of levels. It may only run an air-cooled 119.7cc 4-stroke, but it only weighs 100kg, so it's pretty nimble. Three colour options are available, and ride away price is only $3,490.

The Kinlon KBR offers the agility and manoeuvrability of a Motard, but with full road registerability. The 200cc four stroke single is frugal on fuel and easy to maintain, and the front and rear disc brakes are reasonably effective. Ride away price for the Kinlon 200 SM is $3,290.

In addition to the MadAss, Sachs also offer a more conventional commuter - the Sachs Express 150 - a new addition to the range that's only just been released.

If you're after a more 'feet forward' ride, the Loncin LX250 fits the bill. 250cc, with a large 8lt fuel tank.
