Very original 1984 Laverda 1000 CORSA. Extremely rare, less than 60 known Corsa's on the planet. They were a very limited production run, less than 200 worldwide and this matching number example is in extremely nice condition with only 49515 km on the clock , still in original paint thats also in excellent undamaged condition, has the Corsa only exhaust system also in excellent condition. The Laverda Corsa had the 120 degree crank pins, 32mm Dell'Orto carbs and Bosch electronic ignition. Brakes are Brembo and Suspension front and rear is Marzocchi air assisted. This rare Italian Stallion is the ultimate time capsule and would be the pride of any collection. The Corsa's ability to rev past the red zone and well past 8000rpm is due a number of improvements over the previous Jota 1000 model. Use of thinner and lighter connecting rods in the massive sandcast cases, shorter piston pins and forged pistons helped resist heat expansion and allowed smaller clearances. Most of the Corsa's newfound performance is brought about by redesigned camshafts and larger intake valves, to achieve this the exhaust valves were reduced in size, its the quietest running engine of all the Laverda Triples.
