Looking for a good home for my 1981 Series 2 Jota (early run model ). Australian delivered, Stanco Australian Low volume compliance plate dated 10/80 Engine had bare crank refurb by Redax Laverda in 2012 including installing Carillo rods. Bike has done approximately 30,000kms since engine refurb as I haven’t ridden it much last few years. Bare frame refurb was carried out while engine was out including replacement of all bearings and powder coating of frame. Body work was not repainted at that time as it was previously resprayed in 1989 and quality is still very good. Obviously father time has inflicted a few blemishes. Fairing has been resprayed in last couple of years when major cracks were repaired. New Michelin Road Classics have just been fitted to front and rear during prep for sale. Sasche ignition. Racetech Gold valves in forks, Koni Dial-a-rides on rear. Still running original Dellortos which operate well and have not needed constant adjustment. Bike starts, runs and idles well. Motorcycle is in very good condition. Has usual evidence and scars of regular riding and am sure new owner will wish to change a few things to suit. I have owned since 1986 and is part of the family.
