Seller's Description
This bike comes with full import approval. Also fitted with brand new Dunlop TT100 tyres. This rare and collectable Ducati was designed by Fabio Taglioni and Leopoldo Tartarini. They had fun turning the Sport Desmo into a competitive albeit expensive alternative to the jap bikes of the day. Redesigned heads with 30mm Dell'Orto carbies as well a twin tubed frame for handling the bike also received clip on bars Brembo 260mm triple disc brakes, Marzocchi shocks and Borrani cast alloy six spoke rims. This bike was bought by the second owner in 1986 and underwent a full restoration to add to his collection of Ducatis. He rode it until 2005 and stored it in his garage. He kept up the maintenance on the bike and when I bought it all I had to do to get it going was a new battery, new fuel lines cleaned the carbies and she started first go. Would benefit from a good long ride to fine tune. With the bike comes owner and workshop manuals, all receipts for the resto and the original black Lafranconi exhaust pipes in good condition. There is a set of Campbell's chrome pipes on the bike now. I have the import approval as well as I put in a new battery, just bought two new Dunlop TT100 gtp tyres, front and rear turn signals and brackets.
