I have for sale my 1974 Z1A Kawasaki 900 which I have owned for many years and know the history before me. It is an Australian delivered bike and has had a cosmetic restoration. The bike is all original with matching no’s although has had an original paint early model z1 tank and covers put on it and engine painted black. The bike has the original pipes still fitted with no baffles and they have been repaired in a few places due to age. The original chain oiler and tank is still fitted to the bike as well. Around 5 years ago I replaced the seat, both mud guards handlebar’s and grips rear shocks blinkers foot peg rubbers and few other odds and ends. About 50km’s ago the bike had new chain and both sprockets replaced. All quality parts I purchased from Japan. The bike is also fitted with a dyna s ignition and dyna coils all new. The tyres are like new and the bike has the original key and locks. The speedo has been changed to a km one which I changed and the km's are not correct for the bike as it was originally fitted with a mph speedo. Like I said I know the history of the bike and was garaged for many years from the late 70's. The bike runs and handles perfectly. The motor leaks no oil, blows smoke or makes no noises runs and sounds beautiful. The bike is currently registered on historic which is not transferable. Inspection is a must and I have explained the bike to my best ability. I am moving on with things in my life and regrettably it has to go.
