1968 yamaha dt1 road

This is an original unrestored 1968 Yamaha DT1. I’ve owned the bike for 4 years after finding it in Carberry Manitoba Canada. It is in New Zealand and is NZ registered. I ride it regularly although just for short jaunts around the roads and trails near where I live. The bike is totally unrestored and still only has about 3500 miles on the clock. Legal parts required to get the bike registered have been replaced such as the tyres and brake shoes, but I have all the original parts including the Dunlop tyres. The bike has a couple of very minor age related deficiencies which I have not and will not correct as to do so destroys some of its originality. The bike was. I’m shipping this bike to Sydney in early March and will be visiting family in Kempsey at the same time so I will get the bike through customs, un crated and road ready for pickup/delivery to the lucky buyer. Price includes all import costs, duties and taxes but NOT registration. This is a very nice unrestored bike that runs as it should and has all the usual early model parts such as the small stinger on the exhaust, small tacho, green seat strap, 60 degree kick starter, blue high beam indicator light and more. It is in much too good original condition to restore and my intention was to keep the bike as is but my long suffering wife of many years needs a hip replacement so most of my bike collection is being sold to cover the costs.
