1967 Chang Jiang 750 M1M (Chinese version of the BMW R71). Custom built when I lived in Shanghai by a renowned American motorbike builder in 2003, it’s been garaged for the last 17 years. Recently serviced, electrics fixed, new battery installed (moved from the boot of the sidecar to the bike to allow for detaching and using as a solo), engine cleaned & flushed amongst other things. There are some cosmetic marks & minor rust patches but these will be improved with touch ups. There is no structural or mechanical damage to repair. This bike looks & sounds great, is very simple, rugged and reliable & always starts conversations. Parts are widely available at low cost. Reluctant sale owing to moving interstate & I have’t been able to spend the time riding and tinkering. Certificate of Inspection issued, ready to go for registration.
