Excelsior Universal, UK 14, 1963/4, 150cc This bike was the last model released by the Excelsior company for sale in 1964. It was available as a kit bike for £99, hence UK FOR Universal Kit. It has only covered 2000 miles since new. All original parts except for the toolbox catches which are an improvement on the factory plastic clips. This bike has had a ground up, bare metal restoration. New wiring, new handlebars, headlight glass and surround, and coil. All electrics work like new. Original Peacock blue and Ivory paint scheme. Perfect running order. Easy starting, mostly first kick. The new shockers are replicas of the original, but the original were blue. Three speed Villiers engine. The tank badges are in excellent condition. Universals were never exported to Australia and only arrived here by personal import. They are rare in the UK and even rarer in Australia.
