Up for sale is my Chang Jiang 750 M1S. The CJ750 is based on the original 1956 Soviet built IMZ M72 which itself was derived from the earlier 1938 BMW R71.They are often referred to as BMWR71 or Ural replicas and were produced for the Chinese military. This bike was originally produced in 1963 however the bike is now fitted with a rebuilt 750 O.H.V.motor and is fundamentally German BMW in design. It features 12 v electrics, electric start and has a reverse gear. It is fitted with amo boxes, machine gun mount, leather pannier, jerry can, shovel, spare interchangeable wheel, large luggage rack, a very comfy large leather seat, heavy duty cover. I have also replaced the wheel bearings, steering head bearings, front forks have been overhauled, replaced side car axle rocker arm and bushes, carbs have been rebuilt C/W heat shields and insulation blocks, new drive couplers and cardan shaft rubber. I also have a sidecar brake assembly ready for installation. Bike has been stored for many years hence low kms since rebuild and importation.
