Velocette 1950s spring frame alloy 350 MAC project AND Venom 500 motor. No longer have the time for restoration. MAC year is approximate - forced to put something in the year box!!! Not earlier than 1953 anyway. Good MAC frame and hard to get complete engine and gearbox with alloy plates. Could be built into lightweight special, or source the remaining parts to restore to original. Could even build a special with the Venom motor, noting that MAC gearboxes are lighter weight compared to Venom/MSS/Viper. Condition: MAC gearbox internals look good. Have not inspected MAC engine internals. Motor turns over fine with compression, but some likely big end play. Venom cases poor – drive side main has pushed out and been welded up; timing case has been welded around the crankcase filter area. Venom head has a couple of dents in combustion chamber, but otherwise good. Barrel good, crank and rod seem OK too. Price is for all parts shown in the photos. May sell the Venom motor separately as one lot. Will not split the remainder. Phone for more info. A few texts are OK, but not a never-ending stream (pick up the phone instead)!
