Ventura’s Bike-Pack luggage system is already available to suit many current Yamaha models, from the big FJR tourer, to the XSR700 naked, R1 sports, Tracer 9, Tenere 700 adventure bike and MT-03, MT-07, MT-09 and MT-10 family, as well as the WR250/450 and discontinued bikes, like the VMAX, XJ Series, Bolt, V-Star/Virago cruisers, TDM 850/900 and GTS 1000. There’s even a Ventura Bike-Pack system to suit classic RD and FZ models.
A more recent addition to this range suits the 2022-model YZF-R7 sports bike and comes with all the features Ventura products are famous for.
Ventura’s soft luggage options are made from tough, durable Kodra nylon fabric with a laminated PVC lining that’s water resistant. If you’re after hard luggage, the Astro Top Box is even more durable, as well as being lockable for extra security.
The key to the Ventura Bike-Pack system is the L-bracket, which is specific to the MY22 Yamaha YZF-R7 (both HO and LA variants) and allows the Ventura luggage to be fitted without removing bodywork or cutting the subframe.
The beauty of the Ventura Bike-Pack system is that its capacity can be as large or as small as you need. Once the model-specific bracket is fitted, storage options from 10 litres to 102 litres (depending on motorcycle model) are available.
For versatility, the EVO Rack Bike-Packs can’t be beat, offering options from 12 to 60 litres in capacity, including Jet Stream kits that are designed to be more aerodynamic on the road.
Importantly for a sports model like the R7, Ventura’s unique EVO rack system ensures the load won’t shift, even during hard cornering, while positioning the load directly behind the rider offers less wind resistance at speed and improved manoeuvrability in traffic compared to panniers.
Aero Rack packs range from 31- to 56-litre capacity, while Astro top box capacity is 32 litres.
Most Ventura soft luggage options come with handy features like external carry handles, reflective piping, double zips and internal pockets for small items. Some also include shoulder straps, expandable sections, additional external pockets and storm flaps over the zips.
Storm covers are also available as an accessory to suit EVO and Aero luggage options.
