Peugeot adds new colours to Django 150
Peugeot Motocycles have released two new colour schemes for their stylish, retro-themed Django scooter.
After an all-new colour palette was introduced for the Django last year, two new colours have been added for 2021 - Sport Racing Green and Bright Polar White. They join Satin Rouge Cherry, Ink Black, two-tone Dragon Red/Milky White, two-tone Ocean Blue/Elegant Grey (formerly Mad Grey), Sport Grey (formerly Mad Grey) and Signature Black (formerly Mad Black).
The two new colours are only available on the Django 150, not the 50cc version, while the carryover and renamed colours are offered range-wide.
The new Sport Racing Green is a rich emerald shade, with ‘55’ race numbers on the flanks (a nod to the legendary Peugeot S55 scooter) and dual front stripes, in the style of the existing Satin Rouge Cherry colour.
Bright Polar White is more subtle, with script-style Django identification in silver on the engine covers in the same style as the renamed Signature Black.
The Peugeot Django neo-retro scooter will take you back to simpler times and the festive Parisian streets of the 1950s. Powered by an air-cooled 150cc 4-stroke single producing 8.3kW and with twist-and-go automatic transmission, the Django 150 weighs just 135kg, so it’s easy to manoeuvre. ABS is standard, along with stylish 12-inch alloy wheels, disc brakes front and rear, adjustable rear suspension, an analogue/digital dash and 8.5-litre fuel capacity.
Designed for modern life, the Django has a neatly integrated and lockable dual-compartment glove box and includes an integral power socket for charging devices on the go. The underseat storage can hold an open face helmet, while the low (770mm) seat height and spacious, flat floorpan make it comfortable for riders of all sizes.
LAMS legal and backed by a 2-year, unlimited km warranty, the Django 150 is available now, priced from $5,490 ride away. The smaller and lighter Django 50 (2.7kW 50cc single, no ABS, 110kg) is priced from $4,190 ride away, with the same warranty support.
