MotoGP extends Premier VIP programme
Details on MotoGP Premier packages for 2023 have been released, with the Australian round included in this special rider access VIP programme and a new team joining the roster, too.
MotoGP Premier is an initiative that allows fans access to a Q&A session with riders from selected MotoGP teams as part of a VIP experience that includes undercover seating in a lounge-style environment, with a bar, food and other amenities.
Held at multiple rounds throughout the season, each MotoGP Premier session sees riders take questions from the audience and share personal insights on their team, rivals, the challenges of racing and other topics in an intimate setting, with the opportunity for autographs and selfies, too.
Teams in the programme include LCR Honda, Gresini MotoGP, CryptoData RNF MotoGP and Prima Pramac Racing, while the new addition for 2023 is GasGas Factory Racing Tech3.
Two different ticketed MotoGP Premier packages are available – Apex and Chicane. The Apex package offers three-day access to the ‘Premier Suite’ VIP hospitality lounge, with an open bar and gourmet food each day. In addition to a rider Q&A, this package also presents guests with an executive from the related team, who will provide first-hand details on their role and the day-to-day running of a MotoGP team.
The Chicane package is held in the MotoGP VIP Village, with three-day access and a selection of finger food on offer, along with beer, wine and soft drinks.
Both packages also offer a paddock tour, which with the Apex package includes a guided visit to a team garage for a close-up look at operations during the race weekend, along with insights on the bikes from team engineers.
For the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix this 20-22 October, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jack Miller will appear as part of the Chicane package, but tickets for this have already sold out. Tickets for the Apex package, which includes a Q&A with Prima Pramac Racing’s Jorge Martin and a Prima Pramac Racing team executive, were still available at time of writing.
