The T-Rex is a very versatile jacket because it offers all-weather usability. This is thanks to the '3 in 1' system that includes a pair of removable linings. These are the key features that set the T-Rex apart from many other textile motorcycle jackets
Two Linings – for Wet and Cold
Inside the T-Rex’s tough 600D polyester shell, there’s a waterproof membrane. This keeps you dry, but is also breathable, meaning it wicks away sweat.
A second internal lining keeps you warm when the weather turns cold. This lining is a full sleeve type, unlike other jackets that only offer a thermal vest.
You can wear the thermal lining and waterproof membrane together or separately. For example, use the thermal lining for cold, dry riding conditions. In warm and wet conditions, use the waterproof membrane only.
When it's wet and cold, you can wear both - that's the key to the T-Rex's 3 in 1 system.

Summer Comfort
The T-Rex features mesh panels on the jacket's shoulders, sleeves, chest, stomach and back. These panels allow maximum airflow in hot weather and make the T-Rex ideal for summer.
The fixed mesh lining also includes ‘Mesh 3D’ panels to further maximise air circulation. These are on the collar, main opening flap, wrists and beltline. Pockets for the jacket's armour also use Mesh 3D fabric.
Great Fit, Great Comfort, Great Versatility
The all-season adaptability of the Ixon T-Rex is its biggest asset, but not its only one. A range of adjustment points allows the fit to be fine-tuned for maximum comfort.
There are Velcro adjustment straps on the waist and cuffs, with two-position button fasteners on the biceps.
This minimises wind flapping and ensures the most comfortable fit.
Safety Plus
Although the Ixon T-Rex is a lightweight summer motorcycle jacket, it still offers protection and is CE certified Class A.
The jacket's 600D fabric is highly abrasion resistant. CE armour sections in the shoulders and elbows provide additional protection. There’s provision for a CE back protector (available separately). The T-Rex is also compatible with Ixon’s Ix Airbag U03 vest.
For night time visibility, the T-Rex includes reflective panels feature on the front, back and upper arms.
Straight Style
The Ixon T-Rex has a straight cut style that suits most body shapes. The cut and overall design is suitable for both men and women.
The classic low collar features a neoprene brace and snap fastener. There are two outside pockets and one inside pocket that’s waterproof for a wallet or phone. The removable thermal lining also has its own pocket.
In addition, there’s a loop at the rear for attaching the T-Rex to riding pants.
Three colour combinations are available: Black/White/Grey, Black/White/Red and Black/Blue/Yellow
All feature subtle Ixon branding on the chest, shoulders, back and right forearm.
Available sizes of S-3XL apply to all colour options.
What gloves should you match the Ixon T-Rex with?
There are plenty of glove options out there, and which you choose will depend on the conditions you’re riding in. Not many gloves as versatile as the T-Rex, but here are a couple of options to consider.
Ixon Pro Blast
Short and light, but also waterproof and warm, the Pro Blast is almost as versatile as the T-Rex jacket.
Stretch fabric construction makes the Pro Blast flexible, but it still offers protection. CE protective elements are in the knuckle and palm areas.
Textured material lines the suede palm sections for better grip. Additionally, the index finger is compatible with touchscreens.
Men’s and Women’s sizes are available, along with a range of colours.
Ixon RS Rise Air
Half mesh and half leather, the RS Rise Air glove combines protection with ventilation.
The entire back of the hand is covered in perforated mesh to maximise airflow, but carbon-look CE knuckle protection is standard. A palm slider, sidewall reinforcement and double-lined goat leather palms boost protection.
The cuff is short and the wrist fastening is adjustable. The RS Rise Air also features an index finger tip compatible with touchscreens.
