Need a new motorcycle jacket for summer? Ixon’s race-inspired ‘Jackal’ is a men’s leather jacket with all the best safety and style features for warm weather riding. Expertise from the Racetrack to the Road

Applying what they’ve learned in MotoGP, Ixon have equipped the Jackal with perforated sections, plus porous fabric panels that combine to make the Jackal extra comfortable for summer riding. The fabric panels also stretch for ease of movement, while a fixed mesh lining is standard.

Sturdy Construction and Maximum Safety

The Jackal’s thick, yet supple cowhide leather construction features secure stitching for strength, with CE Certified Level 2 armour in the shoulders and elbows is standard. There's provision for a back protector and the Jackal is also compatible with Ixon’s ‘Ix Airbag UX03’ safety vest. (NOTE: back protector and airbag vest are available separately).

Overall, the Jackal summer leather jacket is CE Certified AAA – the highest safety rating available - making it one of the best jacket options for safe summer riding.

Comfortable, Adjustable, Compatible

Other features on the Ixon Jackal include a racing-cut collar with neoprene brace and fastening strap. There are two zippered pockets outside and two inside. One of the inner pockets is also waterproof to store a phone or valuables. There are removable thumb loops, along with adjustment tabs at the wrist and waist for the ideal fit.

Reflective panels on the biceps make for safer night-riding. There's also a zip and loop to attach Ixon leather pants.

Choose a Colour to Suit your Style

The Ixon Jackal is available in a choice of three colour combinations, each with Ixon identification on the front, back and arms.

Ixon Jackal – White/Black/Red

The white/black/red Jackal features white leather panels on the chest, arms and back. Red sections on the rear of the forearms are complemented with red accents on the upper arms and shoulders. Red also features on the collar tab logo and the external pocket’s.

Ixon text identification features boldly on the front and there’s a white strip on the chest with a subtle ‘Ride Your Way – Jackal Gear’ slogan. The same slogan is added to a red vertical strip on the back, with Ixon identification also on the tail in white.

Ixon Jackal – Black/White/Red

The black/white/red Jackal is a subtler option. White Ixon text and logos feature on the chest, forearm, upper arm, shoulders and collar tab. The forearm, shoulders and collar tab all carry red accents, as do the zipper pull tabs.

Ixon's ‘Ride Your Way – Jackal Gear’ slogan features in a subtle red horizontal strip on the chest and is repeated in a red vertical strip on the back.

Small contrast panels in white also feature on the back are, along with Ixon identification on the tail and below the collar. 

Ixon Jackal - Black

The Ixon Jackal in basic black is the subtlest of the three options available. All the logos and graphics are in grey, with no contrast panels or accents in contrasting colours. All the zippers use black pull tabs. If a simple jacket, without contrasting colours and graphics is your preference, this is the best choice.

All three colour options are available in men’s sizes S to 3XL (check with your Ixon stockist for size availability).

NOTE: The Jackal is a summer leather jacket. It is not waterproof, nor designed for use in cold weather. Ixon have many other jacket options for winter use and wet weather riding.
