Ixon ILANA EVO – the all-seasons motorcycle jacket for women

Ixon’s ILANA EVO is the ladies motorcycle jacket you can wear all year round. The Ixon 3-in-1 system means you can use this jacket when it's warm or cold, wet or dry. The Ilana EVO is very comfortable for women, thanks to a ladies-specific fit. There are no compromises with protection, either.

Summer is coming, which means you’ll need a jacket with ventilation for hot conditions. But summer can also mean thunderstorms and sudden rain, so you’ll need a jacket for wet weather, too. Not every day in the coming months will be warm, either, so how about a jacket for cold conditions and frosty mornings?

An update on the ILANA Jacket, the ILANA EVO can handle all these conditions. This is thanks to Ixon’s 3-in-1 system that includes a pair of removable linings for all weather usability.

Two Linings – for Wet and Cold

Inside the ILANA EVO’s 600D polyester shell, there’s a removable waterproof membrane that keeps you dry in the rain. This membrane is also breathable, meaning it wicks away sweat.

To stay warm in cold riding conditions, there's a thermal lining that provides warmth. This lining is a full sleeve type, unlike other jackets that only offer a thermal vest.

You can wear these linings together or separately. Keep the thermal lining in for cold conditions or the waterproof membrane in for wet weather.

Summer Comfort

Hard mesh panels on the shoulders, sleeves, chest and back provide airflow, making the ILANA EVO jacket great for summer riding. There’s also a fixed mesh lining.

3D Mesh panels on the collar, main opening flap, wrists and beltline further maximise airflow. Pockets for the ILANA EVO’s protective elements also use 3D Mesh fabric.

Safety Plus

The ILANA EVO isn't just a women's jacket for all-weather riding. It offers good protection and is CE certified Class A.

The 600D fabric is highly abrasion resistant and there’s armour is in the shoulders and elbows. The armour is Ixon's IX-PROFLEX SEKA-1.

Specially developed by Ixon, IX-PROFLEX SEKA-1 is CE Level 1 rated. It also offers greater flexibility and better airflow than some other armour types.

There’s provision for a CE back protector that's available separately. The ILANA EVO is also compatible with Ixon’s Ix Airbag U03 vest.

Great Fit, Great Comfort, Great Versatility

The all-weather capability of the Ixon ILANA EVO is its biggest asset, but not its only one. The cut suits the female body shape, with adjustment points for the perfect fit.

There are snap fasteners on the biceps and Velcro adjustment tabs on the waist and cuffs. The classic collar includes a snap fastener and neoprene brace.

The ILANA EVO comes with two outside pockets and one inner pocket that’s waterproof for a wallet or phone. The removable thermal lining has its own pocket, too.

For attaching the ILANA EVO to Ixon pants, there’s a waist zip and loop at the rear.

Two colour combinations are available: Black/White and Black/Anthracite/Gold. Both feature subtle Ixon branding on the chest, shoulders and back.

The ILANA EVO in Black/White is available in S-2XL sizes and the Black/Anthracite/Gold in XS-2XL.

Is there an equivalent men’s jacket?

Ixon's T-Rex textile motorcycle jacket offers many of the same features as the ILANA EVO. It has the same 3-in-1 system, so you can wear it in all weather conditions. This makes it highly versatile for riding in hot or cold, dry or wet weather.

The T-Rex comes with the same removable waterproof membrane and removable thermal linings. It also has the same mesh panels for airflow in summer. The armour protection is the same and it's also compatible with an Ixon back protector and/or airbag.

The main difference between the ILANA EVO and the T-Rex is the cut and styling. Made to suit the male body shape, the T-Rex has some colour and detail differences compared to the ILANA EVO, too.
