Gaerne's SG-12 off-road boot adds some new features in its latest incarnation, like a new top gaitor that's more effective at keeping dirt out of the top of the boots, and new dual pivot system that reduces ankle pressure on impact.

Memory foam around the ankles ensures a snug fit, while the design ensures no outward bunching when flexed.

Three large rubber panels on the inside edge of the boot ensure optimal grip, while the dual Durometer sole uses softer compounds on the shifter/brake points for better pedal feel.

Available in black, white and new-for-2014 red/white/blue colour options, and 43-49 (Euro) sizes (43-46 only for red/white/blue), the Gaerne SG-12 retails for $699.95 from all good motorcycle retailers.
