Beta reveals 2025 RR Race models
Beta’s competition-ready RR enduro range will gain a new name and a bunch of new features for 2025. The renamed ‘RR Race’ models are still based on the X-Pro family, but with a new look and improvements in key areas that apply to all two- and four-stroke models. Additional changes and improvements have been made to individual models within the range, too.
All 2025 RR Race models are fitted with a lighter, higher-performance Nissin front brake caliper, while upsizing the rear axle to 22mm provides greater stiffness and torsional resistance. To suit the new axle, the swingarm has been updated.
The mapping switch button has been moved from the steering head to the handlebars and joins the traction control button on 4T models.
New CNC alloy footpegs with steel pins are narrower, allowing more foot movement, but also better grip. Beta say these new pegs ensure maximum control and no loss of contact with the bike.
Finally, all 2025 RR Race models adopt a new look for the headlight mask, tank panels, side covers and rear guards. These new plastics still allow for push-button seat removal and tool-less access to the air filter.
Across the two-stroke RR Race range, oil injection is optional on 2025 models, while the 250 gains the dual-plug cylinder head seen on this year’s 300 2T model. Offering better combustion efficiency, this new head increases power and torque, too.
On the RR Race 125 2T, a new piston and cylinder head ‘intensifies’ peak power, while improving power delivery across the rev range.
On all RR Race four-stroke models, the crankcase from the RX 450 is now standard. This lighter and smaller unit frees up space around the exhaust system, in turn making removal and installation easier.
Carryover components from the current RR family include Kayaba suspension front and rear, a quick-release front wheel, reinforced handguards, a race-spec seat (with non-slip cover and document pocket), performance rear sprocket and a range of anodised parts.
The new name, new look 2025 Beta RR Race range is due for Australian release in December, with local pricing to be announced closer to arrival.
