Seller's Description
Thanks for looking at my ad! Hoping to find a good home for my 2023 Kawasaki Z900rs in Imperial Red/Diablo Black.
I am also open to a trade for the following models with the difference just made up in cash/bank transfer:
2009 - 2016 Triumph Thruxton 865
2009 - 2016 Triumph T100
2009 - 2016 Triumph Scrambler
2016 - 2024 Triumph T100/T120
2016 - 2024 Triumph Thruxton
Kawasaki W800/Cafe
Other Bonneville series Bikes
Bought the bike brand new in September 2023 but since the arrival of our newborn it's been sitting in the garage only being ridden on occasion and I can't see that changing anytime soon, so I'd rather see it go to a good home and be ridden as it deserves. I'm still hoping to ride where I can but will be happier with something less expensive sitting in the garage more often than not...hence willing to trade for an older Bonneville/Thruxton 😊
The Bike is still under warranty for another 12 months and has rego til December. Touring, commuting, country lanes or taking on the twisties, this bike can do it all and is the perfect all rounder! I've had a blast on this thing so far and I will miss it. This is a 2nd generation RS with some subtle improvements from the pre 2021 models, such as reduced snatchiness in the throttle.
Bike comes with the following extras but is basically a stock machine. Mostly just cosmetic/practical additions:
- Kawasaki centre stand (fitted)
- Kawasaki radiator guard (fitted)
- Rizoma race retro bars (fitted)
- Doremi Kawasaki fork badge (fitted)
- Machined bar ends mirrors
- Kawasaki 16T front sprocket (fitted)
- Kawasaki tank pad (fitted)
- K&N Air Filter (fitted)
- Machined aluminium mirrors (fitted)
- Weighted POSH bar ends (fitted)
- Black aluminium fly screen (fitted)
- Black Z900rs heel plates (fitted)
All servicing and factory upgrades completed at Matt Jones Kawasaki in Melton. I do genuinely think this is one of the best colours they released, and also one of the rarer ones you don't see on the roads too often. It has a nice retro scheme which is very much inline with the era of the original Z1 it's based on.
All OEM parts will be supplied with the bike. Always garaged and never been ridden in the rain. Exhaust headers and muffler are stock and no mods have been made to the engine or ECU. The exhaust note sounds amazimg out of the factory and I also didn't want to remove the awesome double skinned headers that don't tarnish or discolour like many aftermarket products, so I saw no reason to "upgrade" the exhaust.
Why bother saving a few $$$ with a demo bike which might have been thrashed and red lined before it should be? With the 1000km service and first annual service completed, save some money on what is essentially a brand new bike without having to worry about those initial running in periods or early service costs.
Price is NEGOTIABLE but please don't low ball me. I do think it's a fair price considering the age, condition, KMs and extras included with the sale.
Any questions just message. RWC will be provided upon sale agreement. Test rides are fine but full cash amount required before you get the keys.
Cheers
