Seller's Description
One-off classic in very good condition. $000s spent on customising and extras. Must sell: in 80th year and because of worsening hip and knee arthritis am quitting bikes. ** Please note: the price is negotiable. I will sell the bike for the highest bid received by March 14th. Reluctantly, I have to sell it ** This motorbike is a future classic to suit the purist; a real “head-turner”. Extra was paid for its black and silver-grey styling with yellow pin-stripes. Very few bikes with this livery were sold in Australia. It was then extensively retro-customised as inconspicuously as possible by a specialised workshop. Their brief was to emphasise the traditional BMW “naked-bike” look. ** It has been set-up and used for country rides with a small group of “elderly” BMW tragics with no hooning or commuting. Always garaged. Regularly serviced personally by Sydney’s top BMW motorbike mechanic. (Ex Motohansa & Procycles but now with his own independent workshop, he has worked on the bike for the last twelve years. He is happy to vouch for it mechanically and has given his OK to take verification calls.) A detailed service log is available. Registered to 14 July, 2021. ** Extras include: Staintune mufflers and pipes. Leather Corbin seats from USA with grey piping. Brembo brakes. Braided stainless steel hydraulic and coolant hoses in black and silver. Stripped and polished wheel rims with black pin-striping. BMW accessories: luggage rack, luggage bag & tank bag plus some subtle additions such as the BMW blue and white roundel badge on the tyre valve caps, on the rear wheel hub and on the front panel of the engine. Two fitted seat covers (sheep skin and waterproof nylon). Lots more extras.
