This bike was restored to collector show quality in 2009 by Phoenix Precision Restoration, Scottsdale, AZ, USA. https://www.phoenixprecisionrestoration.com/ I imported it from the USA in 2015 and it has been sitting in my lounge room ever since. Prior to this, the bike was part of a private collection of 25 bikes in a showroom. The bike has not had petrol in the tank since being restored in 2009. There were only about 3,850 of the 1978 RM250-C models made worldwide. (Quite rare) The 78 RM250 C model, saw the last of the alloy tanks for at least for 30 years, until the current RMZ brought them back. The 1978 model changed mid-way through the year to become the 78 RM250 C2 with a plastic tank. The bike is suited for display / collection.
