For sale 1971 Bombardier Bantam, Built By Garelli for 9 months only under licence before a legal dispute ended the production run , a 1 year only bike that's quite rare. I have gone right over this bike from top to bottom without losing its original patina . Only original New old stock parts have been used on this bike . I have also sourced both the on board tool kit ( complete incl bag ) and the original dealer workshop tool kit. I also have a dealer Bombardier workshop manual ( high quality photo copy, the only non original item I have purchased ) Items replaced that I can remember Seat incl base ( one very small hole, approx 10mm long, i purchased it in this condition as it was the best seat I could find) Grips Levers All cables All internal clutch parts including friction discs and intermediate plates , springs , actuator rod and pivot arm ( every Bantam I've ever seen has a seized clutch ) Speedo ( have original with original KM ) Speedo cable Speedo drive Handlebars Headlight ring Spark Plug ( comes with a few spares also ) Fuel tap Transmission oil piston rings I have also had the tank professionally flushed and lined to ensure years of trouble free service to come . The crank case it's self has not been opened but has very good compression and rides very nicely . It's a 50cc engine with 4 speed fully manual transmission . The Frame is about 1/3 taller than a Z50 so is quite comfortable to ride even for someone quite tall. I have also kept every original part that has been replaced and these will be included in the sale. I have also collected other new old stock parts suck as a spare Set of wheels and a new cylinder head, I was going to fit the wheels but they look to new , these will also be included on the sale . Bike is located in Braemar NSW and can be viewed by prior arrangement evenings or weekends. I'm happy to work with interstate or even international buyers should this be an option.
