This bike is unrestored low low Km, barely run in, a rare brilliant example of true survivor. It was in dry storage since 1980 in the USA. This bike is complete and how it came out the factory, apart from the left side battery cover and the fuel taps (i have the original taps) I have spent well over 5,000 on this bike, it really did not need it, this bike was running very well however I wanted it to be as close to a mechanically new bike as possible, it now is. Every part was gone over and checked and serviced by a mechanic who’s owns and rebuilds these old Guzzi’s as a passion. This work included a carbs and front fork rebuild. There is nothing to do it has all been done. And It has new tyres (not white walls sorry) The right side battery cover was missing so i found original metal ones out of Germany, i have not colour matched it (see the photos) as i like the authenticity of the part not being of the original bike not being hidden. The paint is original and has patina but it is not damaged, i think it looks better than a new paint job when it is polished up. This bike is excellent and easy to ride, (once you get used to the on/off clutch, positive gear changes and gigantic flywheel, but these attributes are just a visceral joy) It is very comfortable like a lovely chair. A capable wonderful commuter and touring bike. The sound is a deep awesome rumbling thunder and it looks are stunning, handsome. The ride view from your seat of the deep ruby red tank between the huge pots and huge head light is just a wonderful thing. This is the first year the famous V-twin, engine 429 (engine & frame numbers started at 1000) they did not bother to match the engine numbers and frame numbers at the factory way back in 67
