Seller's Description
1967 BSA Mark 3 Spitfire Special in scrambles trim. Matching numbers, never been restored. Gold star brakes which were used only for 1966-67. Folding footrests. Bash plate to protect the sump. Original Akront alloy rims. New Dunlop tyres, new battery. High level Hornet pipes. There are baffles in the pipes so it is relatively quiet, they are easily removed. There’s a scratch in the gel coat of the petrol tank on the right hand side. Starts easily, runs well everything works as it should. A new speedo has been fitted, the original one which I still have reads 8470miles, I would think the mileage is correct. The odometer and trip meter on the old one work as they should but the bit that tells you how fast you're going doesn't work. All the electrics work. It needs a mirror for a roadworthy, I can fit a bar end mirror if required.
