Ariel HS 500 Scrambler. 1955 Mk1 with the half-width hubs and the hot cams and porting from before later models were & detuned. Factory-built race bike that was a Goldstar beater in its day. All alloy engine with TT carb and comp magneto (plus original Monobloc carb). Has the original competition petrol tank and filler cap, oil tank etc. Bike was raced dirt track on the US outlaw circuit in the 50s-60s. It is a complete rolling bike kept as found but not restored. Has sat in the shed for past 25 years. As an early HS 500 with the hotter motor, this is the rarest Ariel.
